As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control and respond to alarms and/or requests with clear communication and customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout campus areas, offices, lobbies, loading docks, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and screen visitor entry per site procedures, including verifying credentials and/or directing guests to appropriate check-in locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting observations, and coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
• Complete accurate reports on patrols, incidents, and daily activities, and communicate notable conditions to onsite personnel and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
