As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Site in Lafayette, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a large manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols indoors and outdoors, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to reports with clear communication and a service-first mindset. This is a driving post, so you will also operate a vehicle to cover wider areas, complete detailed reports, and support onsite teams through teamwork, integrity, and innovative problem-solving.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies, including access control and visitor processing as assigned.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, including shift activity, incident documentation, and patrol observations, and communicate updates to supervision and/or site leadership.
• Monitor designated areas, gates, and/or camera systems for unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and policy violations, and assist with directing traffic flow and deliveries as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
