As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an education location, you will be a visible presence as you conduct routine foot patrols, observe campus activity, and document security-related concerns using a computer or tablet. You will assist students, staff, and visitors with directions and communication, respond to calls for service, and help to reduce incidents through professional engagement. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an academic campus location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and calls for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to campus officials and/or emergency services as needed.
• Control access where assigned by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or authorization, and directing students, staff, and visitors to appropriate locations.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol observations, and policy violations, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
