Security Officer - Shopping Center Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Shopping Center Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will take a highly visible presence while conducting routine patrols, completing detailed reports, and responding to security-related concerns with strong customer service. This is a driving post, supporting mobile patrol coverage across the property and nearby areas. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, taking appropriate action such as providing directions, contacting property management, and/or requesting assistance when needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts, documenting observations, and notifying Allied Universal supervision and/or local emergency services as appropriate.
• Complete routine reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift pass-downs, and communicate security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
