As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will drive between assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and calls for service with clear communication and customer-focused support. This post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. You will represent an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and leads with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, team members, and shoppers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Carry and maintain authorized duty weapon and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and post orders, including completing required inspections and documentation.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance, coordinating with management and/or law enforcement, and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, back-of-house areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry points, loading areas, and other controlled spaces, verify credentials as required, observe for suspicious behavior, and complete detailed reports on hazards, incidents, and unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for Texas only.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
