As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. You will complete detailed reports and work closely with site personnel and local responders as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with post orders and all applicable laws and company guidelines, maintaining proper control and accountability of issued equipment.
• Conduct regular and random vehicle and/or foot patrols of buildings, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner; provide clear directions, assist with scene control, and contact public emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrol activity, incidents, and inspections; communicate observations and concerns to site representatives and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years' armed security/law enforcement/military experience.
• Have an armed guard card/license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma/GED as required by the client.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
