Security Officer - NYS Licensed Rounds

As a Security Officer - NYS Licensed Rounds in East Syracuse, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will control access where needed, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking lots, and perimeter points, documenting observations per site requirements.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery check-in and/or routing in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Complete detailed reports of patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate updates to oncoming personnel and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• New York State Security Guard License required.
• CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
