Recommends optimizations and enhancements and may contribute to annual application roadmaps. Projects typically span 3-6 months from inception to go-live. * Triage & Troubleshooting. Analyzes and scopes complex tickets and enhancement requests, identifying when project-based work is required. Leads resolution of cross-application and cross-departmental issues involving broader workflows (revenue cycle, pharmacy, inpatient nursing). Resolves advanced vendor-related issues ( RevSpring, Dragon, Powerscribe) and system integration challenges. * Build & Configuration. Performs advanced configuration and customization to meet business and clinical needs, including security changes, order set modifications, new functionality, cross-application integrations, complex scheduling logic, and template creation. Changes often impact large user populations and provider workflows with downstream clinical and billing implications. Documents decisions and business rules and supports development of user documentation. Leads or performs unit, integrated, and specialty testing. * Integrations. Manages implementation of Epic application changes with third-party vendors and internal systems. Analyzes vendor and proprietary application functionality, defines integration requirements, and coordinates with IT teams and vendor support. Recommends system modifications as needed and maintains, upgrades, and tests integrations. Partners closely with project managers on multi-application initiatives. * Upgrades & Maintenance. Leads upgrade activities affecting multiple functional areas, including release note review, feature prioritization recommendations, milestone tracking, and stakeholder communication. Maintains and updates integrated test scripts and performs advanced system maintenance. * Communication. Presents updates to leadership and collaborates across teams due to the broad scope of integration work. Clearly communicates complex technical and operational concepts, facilitates meetings, addresses user concerns, and represents the team internally and externally. * User Training.
