GENERAL SUMMARY:

Implements and administers compensation procedures and programs in support of the organization's total compensation strategy. Evaluates and analyzes all programs related to total compensation within the organization.

Salary range is $64,275.40 - $84,361.46/annually. Job Grade, EX 13. Final salary is dependent on a candidate's experience and qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent experience

* Three (3) years of related Compensation experience.

o To include one (1) year experience with various HRIS and Compensation programs.

Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements

* Strong quantitative and analytical skills

* Solid verbal/written communication and presentation skills

* Strong business acumen and customer service orientation

* Ability to influence vertically and laterally.

* Microsoft Excel skills

WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT:

Requires the employee to sit and stand a majority of the time. Infrequent lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required. Some travel may be necessary to Tucson, AZ.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Must comply with all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES AND TASKS:

1. Provides advice to management on pay decisions and policy and guideline interpretations.

2. Manages compensation information within the HRIS platform, ensuring accurate maintenance of job codes, job families, and updates to core organizational job data to support consistent compensation practices and data integrity.

3. Performs job evaluations, job analysis, organizational redesign and restructuring, competitive job benchmarking and related analysis for new hire and promotion offers.

4. Ensures recommendations conform to established guidelines, policies and practices and evaluates internal equity. Recommends corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related problems.

5. Administers and analyze salary surveys to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved.

6. Making recommendations concerning survey participation.

7. Administers variable and sales/incentive compensation plans. Works with Finance and management on all new and existing sales/incentive compensation plans to ensure plans remain profitable and achieve the desired results. Audits reports to ensure accuracy.

8. Create and maintain reporting on various compensation plans.

9. Analyzes data and makes recommendations on the organization's salary structure, FLSA exemptions, job revisions and organizational structures.

10. Conducts job audits for ensuring compliance to FLSA classifications. Analyzes and interprets audit results and conveys decisions to management.

11. Develops and facilitates individual and group training on a variety of total compensation topics. Provides consultation, information, and advice to Managers, Supervisors, and staff as requested.

12. Reviews proposed salary adjustments for conformance to established guidelines, policies and practices and evaluates internal equity. Recommends corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related problems.

13. Assists in all steps of the recruitment and selection process for job openings throughout the company.

14. Research and make recommendations on rewards and recognition programs as part of a total rewards strategy. Assesses program success and makes recommendations for change.

15. Will function as payroll back up as needed.

16. Performs other duties as assigned.
