As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a U.S. citizen AND having an active Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance to be considered. The Subject Matter Expert (SME), Senior Advisor, provides high-level strategic and technical expertise to the Countermeasures Directorate and/or its subordinate offices within the U.S. Department of State. This role supports global security initiatives by offering policy guidance, advising on technical and physical security programs, overseeing budget/resource planning, and advancing innovation in protective systems. The SME operates as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and is responsible for developing actionable strategies for technology integration and operational improvements. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Subject Matter Expert: Pay commensurate with experience.
