Competitive Pay:This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $25.00/hr. to $28.00/hr., depending on experience and qualifications.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the main contact for service customers, handling breakdowns, scheduling needs, CSAs, and general service inquiries.
- Schedule and dispatch field service technicians based on urgency, skillset, location, and customer requirements.
- Manage incoming service requests and prioritize emergency, scheduled, and followup work.
- Maintain knowledge of customer accounts, service history, and contract requirements.
- Monitor technician schedules and adjust as needed to maximize efficiency.
- Handle exceptions, parts issues, vendor coordination, and service-related escalations.
- Use SX.e (Infor SX.e webui) to create, update, and track service orders.
- Utilize vendor portals for ordering parts and tracking shipments.
- Assist with troubleshooting shipment issues, delays, and service-related problems.
- Work closely with Sales, Service Managers, and internal teams to share updates and support service operations.
- Follow up with customers to confirm service completion and satisfaction.
- Maintain supplier information and coordinate pricing when needed.
- Communicate order or billing issues with Accounting.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Service Manager.
What You'll Need:
- Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or High School Diploma with two (2) years related experience.
- Experience and knowledge of electrical and automation distribution.
- Excellent customer relation and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Detail oriented, including accurate data entry skills
- Capable of working independently, as well as a team member
- High level office computer skills required. Microsoft Office knowledge a must.
- Interact with co-workers with a positive attitude to maintain a friendly and productive work environment
