As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driving in Lafayette, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location where you will drive between checkpoints, conduct routine patrols, monitor activity, and respond to alarms and access control needs. Your visible presence and strong communication help to deter security-related incidents while supporting employees and visitors with customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and/or visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, parking areas, and perimeter gates; document observations and report unusual activity.
• Control access at entrances and vehicle checkpoints by checking identification, processing visitor registrations, issuing temporary credentials, and directing traffic flow per post orders.
• Complete routine reports and logs such as patrol activity, incident reports, and shift turnover notes; support investigations by preserving information and coordinating with onsite contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
