Security Officer - Access Control

As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Lebanon, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will greet visitors, verify credentials, and manage entry and exit points while supporting lobby and loading dock operations. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and write clear reports. This is a driving post. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at entrances and loading areas by checking identification, verifying visitor appointments, issuing temporary credentials, and maintaining visitor and/or vendor logs.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems; report irregular activity and help to deter unauthorized entry through active observation and presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, parking areas, and the building perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
