You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a government services location.
• Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to supervisors and/or local authorities as required by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, checking doors and gates, observing for suspicious behavior, and supporting orderly traffic flow during peak visitor periods.
• Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation, maintain daily activity logs, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
