As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage badges and entry logs, and monitor cameras and alarm panels. You will complete routine patrols and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering helpful customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, managing badges, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing guests and deliveries to the proper check-in areas.
• Screen incoming and outgoing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, including delivery drivers, to help to deter unauthorized entry and support orderliness of dock and gate operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing required notifications and documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, yards, and perimeter areas, reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
