As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas including entrances, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor guidance, wayfinding, and credential checks as directed by site policy, reporting concerns through the appropriate chain of command.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical team assists as requested, and missing person or lost property reports.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • This hospital site requires vaccines.
  • The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
