As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will complete routine patrols and mobile rounds as a driving post, help to spot and report security-related concerns, and maintain a visible presence for guests and associates. You will deliver standout customer service, clear communication, and timely incident documentation. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, loading areas, and exterior perimeter, adjusting patrol routes based on activity and business needs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting observations and escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as appropriate.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or loss prevention concerns and help to deter unwanted behavior through visible presence and professional communication.
• Complete incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervisors and onsite contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license from the state in which the job is located is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
