Security Officer - Transit Station Patrol

As a Security Officer - Transit Station Patrol in Concord, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors, respond to concerns, and document observations and/or events. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, coordinating with clinical staff, and notifying local emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout corridors, waiting areas, entrances, and parking areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify hazards, and report concerns per post orders.
• Monitor entry points and restricted areas, verifying credentials and/or visitor authorization, directing foot traffic, and maintaining orderly lines during high-volume periods.
• Document incidents, patrol activity, and unusual observations in written logs and electronic reports, escalating issues through the chain of command as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
