Security Officer - Site Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Site Patrol Driver in Peoria, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, assist associates and shoppers with directions and questions, and report concerns with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and store personnel by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor, stock areas, receiving, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity.
• Observe and report potential theft, disturbances, policy violations, and/or hazards; document incidents and actions taken according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with store management and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, shopper traffic flow, and after-hours activity; assist with opening and closing routines, alarm response, and/or escort requests as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
