Medical Assistant Washington DC Pay From: $22 Per Hour MUST: Experienced Medical Assistant with 5+ years of experience in a high volume Endoscropy Center, or multi provider speialty practice Strong phlebotomy skills Experience initiating IV's a plus Rooming patients Obtaining vitals Assisting with exams and procedures Administering EKG's GI experience a plus High School Diploma or GED DUTIES: Duties include but are not limited to the following: Perform clinical and administrative duties in an ambulatory setting Room patients Obtain vitals and histories Draw blood Start IV's Provide support to physicians as needed Administer injections Assist with exams and procedures Document patient information and interactions in IDX/MedConnect Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
