JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the Company's financial reporting. This position applies strong technical accounting expertise to support monthend close, complex account analysis, internal controls, and compliance within a publicly traded, regulated environment.

The Senior Accountant will serve as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders, external auditors, and crossfunctional teams, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and supporting the evolving needs of a growing, global organization.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Financial Close & General Ledger

  • Own and execute assigned components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Prepare, review, and post journal entries; perform detailed account reconciliations and variance analyses.
  • Maintain and reconcile subsidiary ledgers and ensure alignment with the general ledger.


Technical Accounting & Compliance

  • Research and apply U.S. GAAP and SEC guidance; document conclusions and communicate recommendations to stakeholders with varying levels of accounting knowledge.
  • Support SOX compliance through strong documentation, control execution, and audit readiness.
  • Partner with internal and external auditors during interim and yearend audits, responding to requests and resolving issues efficiently.


Intercompany, Equity & Specialized Accounting

  • Support intercompany accounting processes, including analysis, invoicing, reconciliation, and settlement of balances.
  • Assist with stockbased compensation administration, including ESPP transactions, option exercises, restricted stock activity, and reporting.
  • Manage intangible asset accounting, including capitalization, amortization, reconciliation, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Oversee accounting for accrued legal, professional, and consulting fees in compliance with SOX and internal policies.


Reporting, Analysis & Business Partnership

  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for financial statements, management reporting, and regulatory filings.
  • Provide analytical insights and explanations for periodoverperiod fluctuations and unusual transactions.
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with Finance, HR, Legal, Treasury, and external partners to support business initiatives.


Process Improvement & Projects

  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies.
  • Participate in system enhancements, accounting projects, and special initiatives as assigned.
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of standard operating procedures and best practices.



Education, Experience, and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • CPA or CPAeligible strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a public company or multinational environment.
  • Prior public accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • Handson experience with ERP systems (Oracle Financials R12 or similar required).
  • Experience supporting audits, SOX controls, and technical accounting matters.\
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks.


  • Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Clear, confident communicator with the ability to explain accounting concepts to nonfinance partners.
  • Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement orientation.
