JOB SUMMARY:
Serve as Cerner Patient Accounting and Charge Services Subject Matter Expert responsible for maintenance and management of Oracle Health Millennium patient accounting solutions. This role ensures patient accounting systems are running optimally and support user workflows. Responsibility includes monitoring of application health, implementation of change requests, and overall support for patient accounting and charge services systems.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as lead on support team responsible for overall patient accounting system performance


  • Monitor for Flashes and Code Releases


  • Provide guidance to client on recent releases and best practices for tool configuration, for the following areas:


  • Maintain Charge Master


  • Price Adjustments


  • Charge Tier Additions and Maintenance


  • Analyze Clinical Events for Accuracy


  • Billing Entities


  • Insurance Companies


  • Business Manager Rules


  • Claim Rules


  • Worklists


  • Charge Processing


  • Revenue Routing


  • Denials


  • General Ledger


  • Advise, review and implement change requests in accordance with best practices and client standards


  • Provide support for troubleshooting incidents escalated by Tier 1 Help Desk

JOB SCOPE:
The CPA/Charge Services Support Lead is the primary subject matter expert for the Oracle Health Millennium patient accounting applications. This role is responsible for the overall performance and configuration of billing and accounting related applications. The person in this role must understand design and configuration, as well as troubleshooting and maintenance. The support lead works with internal and external sources under minimal direction and uses independent judgement to make decisions and complete tasks.
