Business Analyst II

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance
• High school diploma
• Minimum of one (1) year of general experience supporting Department of Defense evaluating the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals, requirements, and objectives
• Ability to analyze information to develop program reporting systems including the systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology
• Ability to develop management and/or program evaluation plans, procedures, and methodology
• Proficiency in analyzing and evaluating proposed changes to organizational missions and operating procedures to assess impact and feasibility
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
• Ability to create requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language/formats
• Experience with facilitation and interacting with project stakeholders across all levels of the organization to recommend solutions that meet customer needs
• Experience facilitating and participating in user acceptance testing, change management, and implementation support
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
• Self-starter with exceptional ownership mentality and ability to work in a fast-paced, rapid development environments
• Proactive problem-solving skills with ability to identify needs and recommend solutions

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Two (2) to three (3) years' experience demonstrated in business process/systems analysis or related position performing requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation, as well as documenting proof-of-concept designs to validate requirements
