Security Officer - Roving Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol Driver in Coopersburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a cutting-edge tech location, you will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms, access concerns, and service requests. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, supporting timely patrol coverage across the site. You will deliver clear communication, outstanding customer service, and teamwork while acting with integrity in a caring, innovative culture at Allied Universal.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology workplace.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, labs, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
• Control access using visitor management practices, checking identification, issuing temporary badges when directed, and reporting access concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate unusual conditions, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations through the appropriate reporting channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
