The Transportation Business Group Project Administrative Assistant will support project managers in the execution of project development, planning, initiation, execution, and closeout processes for Transportation Engineering and Construction Inspection projects and programs. This will include providing assistance for the completion of project management documentation and reporting and quality tasks under the direction of the project manager assigned.

In the role of Project Management Assistant, we'll count on you to:
  • Support Project Managers to achieve successful project metrics through the execution of HDR and area policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with area and business group leadership to implement company policies for successful project delivery.
  • Align with the HDR processes and policies defined by the PMO and local area processes.
  • Utilize established HDR systems (MOA/Pronto/Pulse/BI/Staffing Tool) to assist with project management, quality, controls, and risk management tasks as assigned.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and develop best practices and tools that align with corporate standards for procurement/contracts, financial tracking/management, staff planning, and quality assurance.
  • Assist Project Managers with updating project documentation including Project Management Plans, Quality Management Plans, and ensuring that project records are updated regularly during the project life-cycle.
  • Assist with Quality Control reviews of project management documents and reports.
  • Assist where needed to support creating and maintaining project documents and project communications.
  • Assist with creating Business Group communications on established timelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AEC industry experience
  • Local candidates preferred
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 5 years related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
