W2 ONLY 12 Month Contract Description TEKsystems are looking for a Azure Cloud Platform Engineer/Architect to support our clients Platforms Team. This consultant will play a hands-on role designing and implementing multiregion Azure architectures, building and maintaining Terraformbased infrastructure, and enabling scalable, resilient platforms for both new and existing application teams. The role includes onboarding and whiteglove support for development teams, guiding containerized workloads (ACA/ACR), and partnering closely with enterprise architects, infrastructure teams, and domain service leaders. The ideal candidate brings deep Azure expertise, strong Terraform skills, experience with platforms such as Kafka, MongoDB, and Elastic, and the ability to communicate effectively across senior architects and junior developers alike, contributing immediately in a fastmoving, enterprise cloud environment. Top Skills - Microsoft Azure (expert level) - Designing and implementing multiregion Azure architectures - Handson experience Terraform scripting(authoring, modifying, maintaining production IaC) - Python scripting to support and generate Terraform / automation - Azure subscription, resource group, and SKU design - Azure networking fundamentals, Azure Container Registry (ACR), Azure Container Apps (ACA) - Containerized workload design and deployment - Onboarding application teams into Azure from scratch Additional Skills & Qualifications Background in App Dev would be ideal - Ability to troubleshoot applicationlevel issues (e.g., apptodatabase connectivity) - SQL Server experience in Azure - Databricks experience - Azure App Services - Azure OpenAI services - Experience with data platform modernization initiatives - Prior SRE or formal reliability engineering experience - Experience supporting or coordinating with offshore support teams - Familiarity with legacy system modernization patterns (e.g., strangler/insulation patterns) Experience Level Expert Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Cincinnati, OH.
