Patient Registration Coordinator - Dental Services On-site \| St. Louis, MO Join a mission-driven dental care team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient experiences. We are seeking a detail-oriented Patient Registration Coordinator to support our dental clinics by ensuring a smooth and welcoming registration process for every patient. Position Overview In this role, you will be responsible for completing the patient registration process for dental services, including collecting demographic information, determining appropriate fees, and processing payments. You will also serve as a key liaison between dental students and patients, helping facilitate effective communication and a positive experience for all. Key Responsibilities * Complete accurate patient registration and collect required demographic and billing information * Determine appropriate fees and process payments * Serve as a professional point of contact for dental students and patients * Accept, review, and process referral requests * Schedule and confirm patient appointments * Verify dental codes and ensure accuracy in documentation Qualifications Required Experience: * Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare or related setting (dental experience strongly preferred) Skills & Abilities: * Strong computer proficiency, including email and word processing * Knowledge of third-party reimbursement processes * Ability to accurately register and interview patients * Strong reading, comprehension, and documentation skills * Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work with initiative * Excellent verbal and written communication abilities * Strong customer service and organizational skills * Basic math skills; ability to operate a 10-key calculator and credit card machine * Ability to prepare daily bank deposits accurately Experience Level Intermediate Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis, MO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
