Denial Specialist II Description Position Purpose: Generates processes and maintains provider and member correspondence for preservice and concurrent review. Education/Experience: Requires a High School diploma or GED Requires 1 - 2 years of related experience. * Knowledge of denials process including understanding medical record information preferred. * Generates correspondence from EMR documentation and ensures correspondence tasks are processed in a timely manner to ensure compliance according to regulatory standards and policies * Updates and maintains correspondence templates based on regulatory and interdepartmental correspondence inquiries * Coordinates all data collection analysis and reporting activities that impact the denial process * Assists with the compliance and turn-around time TAT log for all correspondence notifications * Performs other duties as assigned * Complies with all policies and standards Additional Skills & Qualifications Remote - can reside anywhere, must be willing to work the schedules listed*** Training - Mon-Friday 8-4:30 CST, 3 weeks-NO TIME OFF - CAMERAS ON Shift timings - 1-10pm M-F CST/8-5pm M-F CST/8-5pm S-Thur CST/1-10pm S-Thur CST/1-10pm Tue-Sat CST/8-5pm Tue-Sat CST Test required Computer literacy test Typing test - need accuracy and punctuation (90% and up) Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Las Vegas, NV. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.47 - $22.47/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
