The Opportunity

DAT is hiring a full-time Outbound Broker Sales Representative for its New Sales team to target new business from the SMB Broker segment.

DAT provides the logistics industry with top-tier SaaS solutions for freight matching and analytics. You'll bring all your sales and business skills and experience to a highly motivated team

  • Demonstrates exceptional initiative and efficiency in driving new business development.
  • Skilled in creating a strong sales funnel.

  • Target obsessed showing a relentless focus on exceeding daily, weekly and monthly KPIs
  • Energetic and enthusiastic, with a positive attitude.


What You'll Do



  • Successfully establish new accounts by making outbound calls and diligently following up on leads.
  • Maintain and drive a sales cycle using Salesforce.
  • Prospect new business by establishing rapport with decision-makers, identifying needs, and asking for referrals.
  • Be a logistics industry expert, and promote the value of the DAT suite of SaaS solutions.
  • Leverage a range of communication tools, phone, email, internet, and more to engage prospects.
  • Achieve and exceed sales goals while consistently meeting your quota.
  • Attend company, industry and trade events to promote the full range of DAT's SaaS solutions.


The Skills and Experience You'll Bring



  • Ideally, 2+ years of success in a directly related role, maintaining a quota in a dynamic, outbound sales organization.
  • Experience in SaaS, subscription-based models, or related technology sales is highly desirable.
  • Experience in the logistics industry is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Direct experience using a CRM (ideally Salesforce) to manage a sales funnel.
  • Highly proficient computer skills, including Google Workspace, Internet and more.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

For Oregon-based candidates, in compliance with Oregon's Pay Equity and Transparency Act (effective January 2024), the salary range for this role is $24.96 - $34.61/hr + commission. DAT considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education and training, core skills, internal equity, and market and business elements when extending an offer.
