Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Executive Health, the Supervisor 2 is responsible for assisting in managing staff and managing the patients and relationships for patients being referred to the Executive Health Practice. The role works independently and has responsibility for managing the flow of these referrals and requests and is responsible for coordinating with various departments to manage medical referrals and ongoing care.They are responsbile for creating operational efficiencies to prepare for targeted growth and using best practices, structure systems to provide optimal service delivery in a highly competative market. This position is a key ambassordorship role at UCSF Health. The role is responsible for providing efficient, individualized services to these patients seeking care at UCSF Health or remote second opinions from UCSF while improving patient satisfation and creating operational efficiencies. They must interact effectively with a diverse, very high-profile population at all times exhiniting grace under pressure, diplomacy, kindness and compassion to others while working under extreme deadlines, scheduling constraints and urgent clinical and/or personal needs.

Supervises staff involved in providing interdisciplinary clinical / nursing care at a clinic and / or center, such as RDA, RDH, RNs, LVNs, etc. Assists in ensuring the quality of patient care delivery in assigned clinic(s) and serves as a role model. Assists with the administration and management of personnel, fiscal, and material resources.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $228,594 - $249,537 (Annual Rate).

Required Qualifications


  • Strong understanding of key elements of concierge service delivery/primary care, including strategy, business planning, operations, workforce challenges and financial conditions
  • Advanced leadership skills, with the ability to create and maintain a climate of collaboration and trust
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office software applications and database applications
  • Expert critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to plan, direct and delegate work while achieving quality, compliance, and performance goals.
  • Previous experience managing a team, minimum 4 years
  • Willingness to work off hours to accommodate patient needs
  • Ability to interface with high profile individuals in a very professional and compassionate manner
  • Familiarity and experience working with different cultures

Preferred Qualifications

Masters Degree

License/Certification


  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing
  • Valid Registered Nurse license in the State of California
  • American Heart Association BLS Certificate
