Welcome to Parker Industrial Process Filtration

At Parker's Industrial Process Filtration Division, we collaborate with our customers to offer filtration solutions for complex contaminant management issues. Our aim is to enhance product quality and safeguard critical equipment against maintenance issues and downtime.

The Industrial Process Filtration Division directly supports North America. In addition, IPF works with our global Parker Hannifin regional entities to leverage IPF products across the globe.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for accurately, efficiently and expeditiously providing input to and duplication and distribution of engineering documentation to Engineering, Manufacturing, PIC, Drafting and customers.

Responsibilities

The general duties include, but may not be limited to the following:

  • Provide timely and accurate typical clerical and administrative support.

  • Assemble and distribute incoming and outgoing communications

  • Maintain files and records.

  • Directly interface with, screen and route visitors to department.

  • Assists, when needed, with preparing department weekly and monthly status reports.

  • Monitor and replenish office supplies.

  • Follow ISO Work Instructions, as applicable.

The department specific duties include, but may not be limited to the following:

  • Provide job release packages to Manufacturing, QA, PIC and Customers

  • Maintain, electronically, the Customer Document Management System by including all Engineering documentation as required by the Project Coordinators/Engineers.

  • Accurately input Bills of Material (BOM) within 24 hours of request.

  • Provide documentation assistance to Project Coordinators/Engineers and Document Coordinator, as required.

  • Assist with the release of approval and/or final project packages to the shop and to customers.

  • Arrange copy and distribute engineering final data books.

  • Assist Documentation Lead with maintaining Engineering Library, drawing files, BOM files, Engineering Standards manuals and Engineering Standard agreements.

  • Maintain the copy machines and drawing plotter by coordinating maintenance issues and ordering supplies.

  • Prepare department machine usage monthly report.

  • Maintain Lean Manufacturing data report.

  • Assist Documentation Lead with input of Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Notices (ECN) when needed.

  • Input on a daily basis capital manufacturing labor tickets into the current ERP system.

  • Perform special projects, as required.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

The minimum qualifications required include, but may not be limited to, the following:


  • At least one-year clerical experience, preferred.

  • ERP experience highly preferred.

  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

  • Customer service experience, a plus.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


  • High School Diploma and/or GED.

  • Related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally, while visiting shop areas, be exposed to harmful light emitted by welding machinery and flying metal particles, moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and moderate to high noise levels. The duties of this job are primarily performed in climate-controlled temperature office environments, with low to moderate noise levels and fluorescent, incandescent and/or natural lighting.
