We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour RN to support our practice on site. The practice operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. This RN will perform traditional clinical duties including phone triage, office visits, patient education, injections, and in-basket management. The practice is supported by a collaborative team of 5 physicians, 3 RNs, 7 medical assistants, and 7 front desk staff. Each RN is responsible for supporting a designated group of physicians. Responsible for patient care and support within the outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions: -Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards. -Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety. -Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care. -Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. -Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations. -Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Education Associate's Degree Nursing required and Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Registered Nurse [RN - Massachusetts] required Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] preferred Experience Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and healthcare technologies. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment. - Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.
