CLA is looking to add a Director of Digital Product Strategy & Commercialization . This person will design and lead the operating model for identifying, prioritizing, and scaling new digital products and business lines. This role will establish governance frameworks for evaluating product opportunities, guide build/buy/partner decisions, and orchestrate go-to-market execution in partnership with digital, industry, and commercial teams.

This leader will leverage deep operational, technology, and transformation experience to translate digital innovation into scalable, revenue-generating offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Product Opportunity Intake & Portfolio Governance

  • Build standardized frameworks for intake, evaluation, and prioritization of digital product ideas across industry teams, digital delivery, and innovation groups.
  • Develop financial and market-sizing models (ROI, TAM/SAM/SOM, unit economics) to support investment decisions.
  • Establish portfolio governance cadence and executive decision forums.

Build / Buy / Partner Strategy

  • Partner with Corporate Development and Partnerships to evaluate acquisition and partnership opportunities.
  • Define decision frameworks for internal product development vs acquisition vs vendor partnerships.
  • Support due diligence, integration planning, and commercialization of acquired digital capabilities.

Commercialization & Go-To-Market

  • Design repeatable go-to-market playbooks for new digital products and accelerators.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery to define positioning, pricing, and enablement.
  • Define launch success metrics and post-launch performance dashboards.

Product Operating Model & Process Design

  • Create product lifecycle frameworks, stage gates, and operational rhythms.
  • Implement tools and dashboards to provide leadership visibility into product pipeline, investment, and outcomes.
  • Drive cross-functional execution across digital, analytics, consulting, and industry teams.
  • as strategic advisor to Digital and Industry leadership on product and venture investments.
  • Lead and scale a Product Strategy & Operations team.
  • Facilitate executive prioritization and decision-making.

Qualifications

  • 10-15+ years in digital transformation, product strategy, consulting, or enterprise operations
  • Proven experience building operating models, launching new offerings, and driving organizational change
  • Strong financial modeling, market analysis, and strategic planning experience
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership in matrixed organizations
  • Experience with enterprise technology, AI, data platforms, or digital solutions preferred
