Managers in the ProHealth Care (PHC) system support the implementation of PHC's strategic priorities by aligning department goals and translating strategic priorities into staff commitment, action and accomplishment in their area of responsibility. They will demonstrate commitment to excellent patient care and ensure that all team members are able to achieve a solid, positive and collaborative culture that supports patients.

The Manager, Care Access is primarily responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and controlling all access functions. This position is responsible for management of the staff and systems across multiple sites that will assure patient and provider friendly access to ProHealth Care system services and patient care. This includes, but is not limited to, Revenue Cycle functions, call center functions, clinical outreach and indirect patient care support (communication management of letters and emails to patients). This role also ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations concerning Patient Access.

This role is located onsite in Waukesha, WI area.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage patient access functions across multiple sites, including revenue cycle, call center operations, clinical outreach, and patient communications
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to Patient Access
  • Partner closely with clinical leaders and internal/external stakeholders to support integrated access workflows
  • Develop, coach, and mentor leaders and staff through formal and informal training and development
  • Drive performance improvement through data analysis, workflow optimization, and quality initiatives
  • Support financial planning, forecasting, and budget management for assigned departments
  • Foster a collaborative, patient focused culture aligned with ProHealth Care's mission and values
  • Lead teams through change and ambiguity while maintaining operational efficiency and service quality

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in front end revenue cycle operations, including registration, scheduling, eligibility, authorizations, and/or access related denials
  • 3+ years of operational experience
  • 3+ years of healthcare experience
  • 1+ years of leadership experience leading a team
  • Demonstrated solid analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and manage complex operations
  • Reside in or a commutable distance to Waukesha, WI
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite in varying clinics/hospitals in Waukesha county five days a week

Preferred Qualification:

  • Clinical experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
