Pay From: $135,000 per year


MUST:

Experienced Systems Engineer

8+ years of systems engineer experience

Must have Linux Administration experience

Experience with design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems.

Experience with Ansible for configuration management, application deployment, and infrastructure orchestration. Including writing and distribution Ansible content through galaxy.

Experience with Terraform for provisioning infrastructure and server automation.

Experience administering and supporting Ansible Automation Platform (or AWX) for enterprise-wide use.

Highly Desired: Experience building and maintaining an Infrastructure-as-Code pipeline for server lifecycle management in bare-metal, virtual, and cloud environments.

Ability to troubleshoot Linux system failures and restore systems to working condition.

Experience with Centrify and Kerberos for server authentication.

Experience with Splunk infrastructure administration (indexers, search-heads, forwarders)

Experience with AWS cloud technologies like Simple Storage Service (S3), and EC2


Bachelors Degree required

DUTIES:

Review and provide recommendations to enhance S&R IT strategic architecture and security roadmap and plans to further protect S&R information and systems

Support the design and implementation of a robust security infrastructure that protects S&R data and systems (both on-premises and in the cloud) from internal and external threats.

Enhance S&R's understanding of the Cybersecurity Executive Order including the Zero Trust Architecture and implications to the S&R business line

Identify and recommend actionable approaches for adoption of the Cybersecurity Executive Order requirements

Assist in preparing and conducting security briefings to leadership and stakeholders

Review and recommend changes to architecture and information security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures

Participates in, and conducts, special studies and projects relating to architecture and security
