Title: Talent Acquisition Coordinator Executive Area: Administration and Finance College/School/MBU: Administration & Finance Department: VC Admin & Finance HR Work Location: Amherst Schedule: Full time Work Arrangement: Onsite Job Summary The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining efficient recruitment processes and directly supporting the University's recruitment and onboarding activities and goals for a high volume of local recruitment needs on campus. The Coordinator collaborates closely with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources teams, and delivers hands-on support to hiring managers and candidates. This position applies professional human resources knowledge and sound judgment to ensure compliance with policies and collective bargaining agreements, while delivering superior customer service. Essential Functions Oversee and coordinate recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system including but not limited to tracking vacant positions, monitoring requisition progress, analyzing applicant pool quality, evaluating recruitment advertising effectiveness, preparing comprehensive search summaries and offer letters. Other Functions Perform other related duties and assist in projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in human resources or an Associate's degree with one (1) year of experience in human resources. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in Mandarin, Vietnamese, and/or Spanish Working Conditions Work is performed in a standard office or indoor university environment and involves minimal physical exertion.
