Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

UNC Primary Care at Graham is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our primary care team at this brand new, state-of-the-art facility. This is an exceptional opportunity to help shape a new practice, deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of the individuals and families we serve.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

*Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

*Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)

*Strong interest in caring for medically complex adult patients

*Demonstrated experience and interest in addressing mental health needs within a primary care setting

Clinical Services Provided

*Comprehensive preventive healthcare

*Acute and sick care

*Annual physicals and wellness visits

*Immunizations

*Women's health services

*Management of acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma

*Routine screening and diagnostic testing

Qualifications

*Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA)

*Active North Carolina license (or eligibility to obtain one)

*Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience

Education Requirements:
* Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
* Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina.
* Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
Professional Experience Requirements:
* No prior experience required.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
* Demonstrated clinical competency.
* Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
* Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting.
* Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
