Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a Marketing Campaigns Specialist to be responsible for planning and executing integrated marketing initiatives, with a strong emphasis on visual merchandising and the in-store customer experience. This role provides end-to-end project management for in-store marketing assets, ensuring brand consistency and operational excellence across all locations. This position also plays a key role in campaign budgeting, developing project briefs, tracking performance, and data-driven optimization to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.

Position will follow our hybrid schedule: Monday-Wednesday in Downer's Grove IL office, Thursday-Friday remote. Some travel required.

Key Deliverables:

  • Collaborate with creative and merchant teams to deliver compelling, sales-driving signage and display solutions that enhance product storytelling.
  • Oversee the execution of the branding, wayfinding, and signage ecosystem across all store locations.
  • Partner with store operations to ensure consistent execution, maintenance, and compliance of signage and visual standards.
  • Support seasonal, promotional, and always-on marketing initiatives ensuring timely delivery and high-quality implementation.
  • Oversee in-store atmosphere initiatives including music, messaging, and voice systems in collaboration with operations and third-party vendors.
  • Assist in planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns ensuring alignment with brand standards and business objectives.
  • Develop clear, actionable project briefs outlining objectives, scope, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics for creative, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor campaign and project budgets to ensure cost efficiency while maintaining quality and impact.
  • Serve as a cross-functional liaison to align marketing initiatives with merchandising, operations and community teams.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, printers, installers, and creative partners, ensuring deliverables meet expectations, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance using available data sources to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • This job profile is not meant to be all-inclusive; the Marketing Specialist may perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Applicant must have a high school diploma. Associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or communications from an accredited college preferred.
  • 1-3 years retail (grocery) industry or marketing experience preferably in marketing, advertising or communications.
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing and social media marketing.
  • Experience using data analytics software for research.
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must maintain the highest level of customer service at all times.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills are a must as the ability to accurately convey information to team members, management, vendors and store staff members is crucial.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to the ever-changing high volume retail environment while working in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Must have the capacity to take initiative for making appropriate decisions and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt in a variety of situations.
  • Must have advanced attention to detail with the capability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency of computer systems is required. Working knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Must be able to support and contribute to team goals across multiple departments.

The pay range for this position is listed below. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location.

$62,000.00 - $100,000.00

This pay range represents the minimum and maximum base pay for the position, which is determined by factors such as market data, the qualifications required, the level of responsibilities associated with the role and other roles at this same level. Specific pay rates will be within this range and based on your experience, qualifications, and skills compared to the internal team of this role.

Compensation for this position also includes incentive bonus opportunities that may vary based on individual and company performance. Specific details will be discussed during the hiring process.
