LPN - Pediatrics - 36 Hours/Week - Nights - Jackson Full Time Benefit Eligible Schedule: 3 12-Hour Shifts from 6:30pm-7am; Weekend and holiday requirement Hospital: Henry Ford Jackson Preferred Experience: Inpatient nursing required. Pediatric or post-partum nursing preferred. GENERAL SUMMARY: Under the delegated authority of a registered nurse or provider, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) uses sound nursing judgment in provision of nursing care. Performs a variety of both technical and routine nursing services. Collaborates with health care team in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the nursing care plan. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing School. * For the ambulatory setting, previous ambulatory nursing experience preferred. * Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: * Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse. * Successful completion of HFHS pharmacology exam for the LPN. * Current BLS.
