This opportunity is available at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging for a Specialist to work on the acquisition and evaluation of MR imaging studies in patients with vascular disease. Responsibilities include imaging subjects with vascular disease, processing that data, and performing analyses on the imaging features across the disease condition. The incumbent will perform studies to optimize the utilization of 4D Flow techniques with systematic comparisons in flow models, in numerical simulation, and with comparison to in vivo imaging studies. The incumbent will develop methods to visualize flow streamlines, particle trajectories, and the dissipation of turbulent kinetic energy. The incumbent will prepare manuscripts reporting these results and will assist in grant preparation. Required Qualifications:
