Research & Development Intern
The R&D Intern will work on innovation projects for new product development to design and conduct testing (physical, chemical, sensory) and evaluation of new prototype products with improved quality, sensory attributes and functionality.

Core Functions & Responsibilities:work with Bunge NA oil innovation team to test and evaluate new product prototype in lab including chemical, physical, sensorial and microbiological measurement of new products, and make recommendations for next phase improvements for new product design and functionality, specify and define specs and shelf life.

Skill/Experience Requirements:

• STEM knowledge in general, strong foundation and understanding of physics, chemistry and biochemistry.
• Love to taste and sensitive to different type of foods, flavor and sensory attributes.
• Love to learn and willing to communicate, discuss and share thoughts with peer scientists, collaborative and like to work in a team environment.
• Travel ability/availability between Chicago area and St. Louis.
