Here's the deal: We're hiring a strong, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented candidate to manage all aspects of payroll processing, requiring an experienced professional who can ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of payroll-related responsibilities.

This is what it takes to work for us.

• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role (3+ years).
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing payroll deductions, garnishments, retirement plans, and workers' compensation.
• Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process full-cycle payroll accurately and on schedule for all employees.
• Manage federal and state tax deposits, including payroll tax withholding and unemployment tax payments.
• Prepare, file, and submit all required IRS quarterly forms (such as 941s) and corresponding state tax filings.
• Handle all wage-related obligations, including 401(k) contributions, child support, garnishments, and other deductions.
• Oversee workers' compensation reporting, audits, and payroll-related communication with carriers.
• Coordinate and process year-end tasks, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate reporting, reconciliation, and documentation.
