Description

Your Role:

This position is responsible for a wide range of facility maintenance and maintenance mechanic activities in support of Plant Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Oversee daily facility operations as instructed by the Facilities Supervisor/Manager.
  • Provide guidance to lower-level maintenance mechanics for tasks assigned by the Facilities Manager.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of all building systems (HVAC, boilers, chillers, air compressors, water systems, etc.)
  • Ensure the timely completion of work orders.
  • Plan preventative maintenance, repair and work order activities with internal staff.
  • Make recommendations to improve the functionality of equipment and systems.
  • Support manufacturing operations with afterhours coverage (on call).
  • Perform work in laboratories, offices, cleanrooms and mechanical spaces.
  • Oversees contractors as required.
  • Use the building automation system for monitoring, trending, and alarm response.
  • Perform other trade duties such as plumbing and carpentry.
  • Maintain all GMP documentation as required.
  • Interact with all levels of internal staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements:



  • H.S. Diploma and a minimum of 8+ years of experience working in GMP Facilities.
  • Maintenance. Must have working knowledge and experience with Good Documentation Practices.
  • Requires knowledge and experience with electrical/mechanical systems repair, maintenance and installation. Experience with the operation of PLC and BMS systems.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Work in this role is done in laboratories, offices, manufacturing suites, cleanrooms, mechanical spaces and the facility's roof. Work may occur in other locations as required. While generally this job is performed in temperature-controlled facilities, there are occasions in which this position must work outside, in which temperatures may vary. This position deals with cleanrooms where specialized gowning is required to enter the work area. Special PPE may also be required to perform specific portions of the job. All persons performing this job will receive appropriate training prior to engaging in work requiring PPE.

The hiring range for this position is expected to fall between $49.23 - $57.88/hr reflecting the range candidates can reasonably expect to be considered for at time of offer, based on factors such as experience, internal equity, and qualifications.

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of considerations, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, specialization, skills, abilities, and training. The above range represents the Company's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting.

In addition to your salary, the Company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan. All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements. Certain positions may also be eligible for additional compensation such as bonuses or commissions.
