- We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Commerce Cloud Architect to join our digital commerce team.
- The ideal candidate will be 70-80% hands-on, actively coding, troubleshooting, and guiding the team, while dedicating 20-30% of their time to solution design and architecture.
- Primary focus will be on backend development and integration, with secondary expertise in Spartacus storefront for headless commerce initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Hands-On Development (70-80%)
- Actively contributes to backend development in SAP Commerce Cloud.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and ensure code quality.
- Mentor and support development teams with best practices and technical guidance.
- Implement integration with ERP, CRM, OMS, payment gateways, and third-party systems.
- Proven hands-on experience in SAP Commerce Cloud (mandatory).
- Working knowledge of Spartacus storefront (Angular-based headless storefront).
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, CPI, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Design & Architecture (20-30%)
- Define scalable and secure architecture for SAP Commerce Cloud solutions.
- Establish API strategies, OCC layer design, and microservices architecture.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and digital commerce roadmap.
Spartacus Storefront
- Provide guidance on Spartacus implementation for headless storefront projects.
- Collaborate with front-end teams to ensure seamless integration with backend services.
- Support customization and extension of Spartacus components when required.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Conduct code reviews and enforce quality standards.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10 years of experience in SAP Commerce (Hybris) with strong backend expertise.
Acceptance Criteria:
- Proven expertise as an SAP Commerce Cloud Architect.
