Full-Time / Salaried - Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm / Weekend flexibility

Pay Range: $227,302.40 - $250,000.00 Annually

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the overall management of the community, Residential Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing Care Center, enforcing community and organization policies and governmental regulations. Coordinates the functions of each department, organizing the programs within the framework of the operational budget.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

* Provides quality Service Excellence efficiently to residents, families, co-workers and vendor partners in a manner to ensure satisfaction.

* Directs all aspects of the community's operations and programs. Develops an organizational structure for the administration of all community programs and services.

* Prepares and recommends to the Divisional Vice President of Operations an annual community operating budget. Monitors budget compliance on an ongoing basis and reports on monthly variances.

* Implements all community and organization policies and procedures through appropriate delegation of duties to the community staff.

* Works collaboratively with residents, meets with individual residents. resident council and resident committees on behalf of the community and solicits the participation of these bodies in advising on decisions for the community programs and services where appropriate.

* Hires supervisors and evaluates all community department heads. Responsible for the community operations regarding all marketing plans and achieving unit occupancy budget. Assists in welcoming new residents.

* Provides timely, accurate and transparent communication consistently to residents, team members, family and vendor partners. Advises and collaborates on an effective marketing plan. Represents the community through outreach to enhance its visibility and reputation.

* Maintains the community in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations pertaining to the community.

* Supervises community department heads with appropriate delegation of responsibility.

* Approves all purchases made for the community and makes recommendations regarding purchases where necessary.

* Keeps a fire and safety plan, disaster and casualty program and disruption of services plan updated, and holds regular drills as necessary.

* Ensures a high quality of resident life at the community through support and promotion of those programs and services that support Front Porch's Mission Statement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or abilities required. * Current Retirement Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) Administrator's license with the California State Department of Social Services.

* Current Licensed Nursing Home Administrators License is preferred.

* Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university for long-term care administration or related area of health administration; and at least five years' experience as an Executive Director or Administrator in continuing care and/or retirement facilities. 10 years' experience is highly preferred.

* Significant experience managing subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 200 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial statements, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

* Interest in and concern for care of older people. Ability to plan, organize, communicate and implement new programs. Ability to collaborate, develop and maintain a good working relationship with all community personnel, residents and the surrounding community. Demonstrates leadership and ability to work as part of a team.

All employees are required to follow safe work habits in order to prevent injuries to themselves, residents, visitors or other employees.

* Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
