Our Global Sourcing Team is seeking a highly capable Strategic Sourcing Manager to provide strategic and tactical procurement leadership across the organization.
In this role, you will leverage a fact-based and analytical approach to work across business units and across functions to develop initiatives to reduce costs, support growth opportunities, and improve service and quality. Refine processes to optimize efficiency from purchase order through remittance. Responsibilities include category management of assigned commodities, as well as identification and implementation of non-category specific sourcing initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: *Category management responsibilities include market research, strategic sourcing, complex contract negotiation, and strategy compliance, with annual spend levels up to $50MM annually. *Responsibilities include managing a staff of up to four (4) associates. *Responsibilities include addressing difficult problems with minimal supervision. *Ensure department duties are performed in accordance with legal, ethical, and policy guidelines. *Develop, implement, and manage organizational development strategies and talent management initiatives to optimize long-term team effectiveness. *Develop, implement, and manage efficient process workflows to optimize workforce productivity, *Flawlessly execute tactical responsibilities (procure to pay) to consistently meet or exceed business unit requirements as it relates to quality, timing, cost and service. *Drive value generation activities through the identification and implementation of cost-out and innovation initiatives. *Manage market intelligence research efforts to define, implement, and refine category strategies, ensuring category expertise is maintained across all market segments in which AG participates. | |
