Looking for a Production Lead job where you're more than just a number on a clipboard? Here's the deal: We're hiring a Production Lead to be responsible for tracking, coordinating, and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to the production schedule.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• 3-5 years of experience
• Possess the ability to adapt to a changing work environment and organizational demands
• Strong attention to detail
• Capable of standing and or sitting for extended periods of time
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and the management team.
• Must be well organized, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Must thrive in a team-oriented and deadline-driven environment
• Ability to verbally communicate, read, and comprehend written and verbal instructions in English
• Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides direct support to the Production Manager.
• Prioritizes work orders and identifies and resolves constraints in support of the production schedule
• Reviews job travelers, drawings, work instructions, and specifications to obtain information, such as
  
  materials, priorities, planning, tooling package, and fixtures.
• Reviewing and distributing production work; conferring with department managers and supervisors to
  
  determine progress of work and completion dates; and compile reports on progress of work, inventory
  
  levels, costs, and production problems.
• Monitors work progress, provides services, such as tracking work orders, and directs workers to expedite
  
  workflow.
• Works closely with various department leads/management to ensure materials and supplies are available to meet
  
  production demands.
• Examines documents, materials, and products, and monitors work processes for completeness, accuracy,
  
  and conformance to standards and specifications.
• Performs periodic and annual inventory and cycle counts
