Position Summary The Senior Recruiter is responsible for the full cycle recruitment across critical field positions while managing a high-volume requisition load with a strong emphasis on quality. This role requires balancing speed with thoughtful, competency-based screening to ensure the hiring of strong, long-term talent. The Senior Recruiter provides a high touch candidate and hiring manager experience, proactively builds pipelines for hard-to-fill roles, and serves as a strategic partner to field leaders by offering labor market insights, clear communication, and data-driven recommendations. This position is ideal for a recruiter who can operate with pace, structure, and strategic judgment in a fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment for critical positions such as Master Technicians, Store Leadership, and other high-ROI roles that require deeper qualification and targeted talent strategies.
- Develop deep role expertise, understanding required competencies, certifications, leadership behaviors, and technical skillsets.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by leading role intake discussions, aligning selection criteria, and influencing decisions using market insights, talent data, and competitive market considerations.
- Prioritize quality over volume while managing a focused, strategic requisition load.
- Conduct structured, competency-based interviews aligned to technical skills, leadership capabilities, and behavioral performance.
- Provide weekly hiring updates, pipeline insights, time-to-fill expectations, and recommended sourcing adjustments.
Education and Experience
- 8-10 years of technical experience
- HS Diploma/ GED required
- Associate/Technical degree preferred
- Advanced knowledge of consultative recruiting, competency-based interviewing, and labor market dynamics for skilled trade and field leadership roles.
- Must be proficient in assessing technical and leadership qualifications, using recruiting data to guide decisions, and partnering closely with field leaders in a high-impact, operational environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong consultative and influencing skills, with the ability to assess technical and leadership talent through structured interviewing.
- Must be highly skilled in stakeholder partnership, data interpretation, and prioritization, with the ability to manage complex requisitions while balancing quality, speed, and candidate experience in a fast-paced, field-driven environment.
Physical Demand
- Primarily sedentary role requiring prolonged computer and phone use.
