The hospital's RN residency program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Practice Transition Accreditation Program and Pathway to Excellence, ensuring high-quality training for nurses.
- Utilizes knowledge bases of nursing education and experience in order to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Responds to life threatening situations with appropriate interventions.
- Practices in a Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Invasive Radiology environment through the application of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, included but not limited to cardiac pacing, hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation.
- Organizes patient care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Current Oklahoma RN license.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- If ACLS certified upon hire, must maintain; otherwise, obtain certification within the first 6 months of employment and maintain.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Experience 2 years on cardiac floor or Critical Care Unit (ED, ICU).
- NIHSS.
