What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Staff the front desk to greet, screen, and direct employees, guests, vendors, and deliveries according to access requirements.
  • Issue and collect visitor credentials, validate identification, maintain visitor logs, and support badge management processes as directed by site policy.
  • Monitor access points and entry systems such as doors, turnstiles, and intercoms, and report irregular conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Answer phones, radios, and electronic inquiries; route calls and/or messages to the appropriate departments while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems as assigned, documenting observations and escalating concerns through established channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and assisting with site response procedures.
  • Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incident details, and service requests using required reporting tools and formats.
  • Support lobby and reception area order by addressing unauthorized access attempts and helping to deter policy violations through presence and communication.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to front desk operations such as package logging, key control documentation, and appointment verification, as directed by site policy.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
